Microneedling with PRP
WHAT IS A PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP)?
Platelet Rich Plasma is produced from your own blood. PRP is a is an effective treatment that uses your body’s own plasma to reverse the aging process by stimulating collagen production and tissue regeneration.
HOW DOES PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP) WORK?
PRP stimulates your own cells to boost your collagen production resulting in smoother, firmer skin. The platelets gradually release different growth factors which stimulate your body’s natural process of collagen production and tissue regeneration. This non-invasive treatment utilizes your blood’s natural healing and restorative power.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP) TREATMENT?
A small amount of your blood is collected to isolate natural PRP for injection into your skin. PRP is applied directly onto the skin as a serum which gets micro-needled into your skin. This stimulates the creation of collagen as well as your natural healing process. You will require a series of approximately 1-4 treatments approximately 4 weeks apart.
HOW LONG WILL MY PLATELET RICH PLASMA TREATMENT LAST?
You can expect to see the results of PRP gradually. Approximately 3-4 weeks after your first PRP session you will start to notice more a radiant and rejuvenated complexion. Follow-up appointments should be booked 3 months after the initial treatment series to ensure you have had enough collagen generated for the desired result.
