Microneedling is a clinical skin-treatment service provided by Kali Tocco, RPN, under appropriate medical direction. To support a safe and comfortable experience, please review the preparation guidance below.
Consultation & Safety Review
A consultation is required before booking microneedling. During this visit, your nurse will:

Before Your Appointment

General Preparation

Stay well hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment.

Eat a light meal prior to your visit to support comfort.
Medications & Supplements

If you take medications or supplements that affect blood clotting (such as NSAIDs or certain herbal products), discuss these during your consultation so appropriate guidance can be provided.
Skin & Product Use

Avoid chemical peels, waxing, laser treatments, or abrasive exfoliation for several days before treatment unless advised otherwise.

Arrive with clean skin free of makeup, lotions, or oils.
Lifestyle Factors

Tobacco use or alcohol consumption should be discussed with your nurse, as these factors may be relevant to your care plan.
Day-Of Expectations
On the day of your appointment:

Your nurse will reconfirm your health history and treatment plan

The treatment area will be prepared using sterile technique

The procedure steps will be reviewed before treatment begins
