Every dermal filler treatment begins with a detailed consultation and clinical assessment. During this appointment, your nurse will:

• Review your medical history and health profile

• Discuss your aesthetic concerns and goals

• Explain all suitable treatment options, including alternatives

• Outline potential risks, expected experiences, and after-care requirements

This process supports informed decision-making and helps determine whether treatment is appropriate based on your individual assessment, health history and goals.

The Treatment Process

If dermal filler treatment is selected as part of your plan, injections are administered using appropriate aseptic technique and infection-prevention practices, in accordance with applicable clinical and professional standards. Your nurse will review your personalized plan, including treatment areas and volumes, before proceeding. Topical numbing may be offered to support comfort, when indicated. Treatment time can vary depending on the areas addressed. After injections, your nurse will provide after-care guidance and monitor for immediate responses before you leave the clinic. 

What to Expect After Treatment

Responses following dermal filler treatment vary between individuals. Temporary treatment-area responses such as swelling, tenderness, redness, firmness or bruising may affect the appearance of the treated area during the initial post-treatment period.
