Your blood sample is collected into special PRP tubes. Topical numbing can applied to your skin for added comfort during your treatment. Once your platelet rich plasma tubes have been spun in the PRP centrifuge, your plasma separates from your red blood cells and can be withdrawn for your treatment. Once your skin is cleansed, platelet-rich plasma is injected into your skin using a needle or a blunt tipped cannula. HOW LONG WILL MY PLATELET-RICH PLASMA TREATMENT LAST?

You can expect to see gradual results of your PRP facial. Approximately 3-4 weeks after your first PRP facial session you will start to notice more a radiant and rejuvenated complexion. Follow-up appointments should be booked 3 months after the initial platelet-rich plasma treatment series to ensure you have had enough collagen generated for the desired result.

WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF PLATELET-RICH PLASMA TREATMENT?

You can resume most activities immediately, except for anything that generates heat for 72 hrs. The most common side effects from a PRP facial include are redness, mild swelling and potentially minor bruising following the procedure. Expect swelling and possible bruising for 7-14 days.
