Your blood sample is collected into special PRP tubes. Topical numbing can applied to your skin for added comfort during your treatment. Once your skin is cleansed, platelet-rich plasma is injected into your skin using a needle or a blunt tipped cannula. HOW LONG WILL MY PLATELET-RICH PLASMA TREATMENT LAST?

Follow-up appointments should be booked 3 months after the initial platelet-rich plasma treatment series to ensure you have had enough collagen generated for the desired result.

WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF PLATELET-RICH PLASMA TREATMENT?
You can resume most activities immediately, except for anything that generates heat for 72 hrs. The most common side effects from a PRP facial include are redness, mild swelling and potentially minor bruising following the procedure. Expect swelling and possible bruising for 7-14 days.
