Consultation & Assessment
A consultation is required before booking this treatment. During this visit, your nurse will:
-
Review your medical history and medications
-
Discuss your concerns, questions, and goals
-
Assess whether the treatment is appropriate for your health profile
-
Explain preparation steps, possible responses, and any safety considerations
-
Review after-care guidance and what to expect on the day of treatment
This process enables you to make an informed choice that aligns with your needs.
Before Your Appointment
Hydration & Nutrition
-
Ensure you are well-hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment.
-
Eat a balanced meal before your visit to support overall comfort during your procedure.
Medications & Supplements
-
Certain medications and supplements (such as blood-thinning agents, including some non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and herbal supplements) can increase the likelihood of temporary bruising or other responses.
-
Discuss all medications and supplements with your nurse during your consultation so you can receive appropriate guidance about whether adjustments are recommended.
Alcohol & Smoking
-
If you consume alcohol or use tobacco products, it’s helpful to discuss this with your nurse, as these factors may influence your care plan or timing.
Skin & Hair Considerations
-
Arrive with the treatment area clean and free of heavy products.
-
If you have dense facial hair in the treatment area, you may be advised on whether grooming beforehand is helpful.
Timing & Planning
-
If you have a special event, travel plans, or time-sensitive schedule, please discuss this during your consultation.
-
Planning ahead allows your nurse to provide guidance that supports your schedule and expectations.
Safety & Eligibility
Submental fullness treatments are not suitable for everyone. Certain health conditions, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or use of specific medications may affect whether this service is appropriate for you. Your nurse will assess this during your consultation and explain any safety considerations or precautions.
