Neuromodulator Treatments
Neuromodulator treatments are a nursing-led medical aesthetic service provided at Touch of Beauty by Kali Tocco, Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), under medical direction. These treatments involve the administration of a prescribed injectable medication into specific muscles
following a comprehensive assessment.
Treatment plans are individualized and based on facial anatomy, movement patterns, clinical assessment and patient goals, with an emphasis on patient education and informed decision-making.
Consultation & Assessment
All neuromodulator treatments begin with a detailed consultation. During this appointment, your
nurse will:
-
Review your medical history
-
Complete a facial assessment
-
Discuss your concerns and goals
-
Review suitable treatment options
-
Explain potential risks, benefits, and alternatives
This process supports informed decision-making and helps determine whether treatment is appropriate based on your individual assessment and needs.
The Treatment Process
If treatment is deemed appropriate, injections are administered using appropriate aseptic technique and infection-prevention practices. Your individualized treatment plan will be reviewed prior to proceeding, and aftercare instructions will be provided following your appointment.
Responses to treatment vary between individuals. Changes may be observed gradually over
several days. Follow-up appointments may be recommended to assess your response to treatment, address any questions or concerns and determine whether any further clinical assessment is appropriate.
Safety & Considerations
Neuromodulator treatments are not suitable for everyone. Certain medical conditions,
medications, pregnancy, or breastfeeding may affect eligibility. Potential risks, expected effects, alternatives and other relevant considerations will be discussed during your consultation to support informed decision-making.
Our Clinical Approach
Touch of Beauty is committed to ethical, evidence-informed nursing practice. Treatments are
guided by professional judgment, patient assessment, and regulatory standards—not product
