WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT DURING MY PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP) TREATMENT FOR HAIR RESTORATION ?

PRP is injected into the part of the scalp containing blood vessels. This results in the hair follicles to becoming healthier and stronger, producing increased hair growth. A typical treatment takes a little longer than an hour to complete.

 

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AFTER MY PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP) TREATMENT FOR HAIR RESTORATION ?

You will begin to see thicker, natural hair re-growth in areas you had treated with PRP therapy. You will notice your scalp looks and feels healthier, hair fall reduces and hair thinning slows down. You will require usually a series of approximately 2-4 treatments approximately 4 weeks apart.

HOW LONG WILL MY PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP) TREATMENT FOR HAIR RESTORATION LAST?

Your PRP treatment will provide a gradual increase in your hair restoration. Follow up appointments should be booked 3 months after the initial treatment series and often require a maintenance treatment 2-3 times per year.

 

WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP) TREATMENT FOR HAIR RESTORATION ?
